Puppies started leaving this week for their new homes.

This is Isla Blue sporting her Christmas bow on her first day home.

This is Mr. Mustache who is now hefting the weighty name Mando!

Naia is in the queue to be bred

My my my. What a pretty dog! Naia is going to be bred on her next heat cycle to lovely brown Renzi. Won't those be some pretty pups? Local placements to families open to having a show/breeding prospect and someone home most of the time, no toddlers in the home, will be the lucky owners of her puppies next spring.

Nico can be a daddy now

Now that we have a test for Puppy Eye Syndrome, I can safely use my lovely boy
Nico, for breeding.
Yes, his head really is that big!

Happy Birthday Taylor

!

Part of the Blue Run philosophy is that
each dog's health and longevity are important to my breeding program and future breeding decisions. Here is Taylor checking in on her 11th birthday to let us know she is healthy and happy.

No August puppies available after all

I am so disappointed that Kali will not have a litter in August
as we had hoped. There are so many people hoping for a Blue
Run puppy this year and I had hoped for a nice big litter. No such
luck. As feared, God is laughing at my "plans".

Blue Run's Yuletide Diamante

This is Dia. She is 1.5 years old
and we are planning on getting
her into the show ring this year.
She is the perfect 19 inches tall
and has beautiful movement. She
was the only girl in her litter of 9
puppies but she is a knock out!

The Yuletide 2 litter leave next week

These are the Yuletide 2
puppies, a repeat breeding of
Blue Run's Resolved to Sparkle
and GCH CH Aquafortis Lorenzo
Alexander Robel.
These puppies will be going to
their new homes this coming week.
Eight lucky owners form the
hundreds of callers interested.....
it turns out pandemics are very
good for puppy sales.

We are social distancing and prepared at Blue Run!

This is Dia. She isn't very good at the social distancing
part so we have provided her with a mask. I'm not too
sure she can see though.

Sisters

Molly and Riley are enjoying a sisterly visit while Molly's
family is traveling. I encourage litter mates to get together
for play dates and for families to share dog sitting. The dogs
love it and they don't come home sick and smelly from being
in a commercial kennel.

Echo And his handsome Daddy "Renzi"

Echo is a full sibling to my current litter of 2 week old puppies.
Isn't he handsome? He is brown with the fading gene so he has
turned this interesting color. He has a fabulous big head and is
the ideal 22 inches at the withers. He is going to be a baby daddy
in the future, that's for sure. I would like to show him to
Championship but his co-owner is not keen on having him be
away for shows. I actually think he would finish in a few weekends
given his great structure and fetching expression.
Above, pictured with Porty handler extraordinaire, is Lizzie Volz with Echo's dad Renzi. I think Echo looks a lot like his daddy.

Leio grows up to be a gorgeous boy

This is Leio, a Yuletide puppy born last year
to Diamond and Lorenzo. Leio was tuckered out
on his first day home. A year later, he clearly
owns the couch. There are two puppies that look
like Leio in the repeat breeding born 2 days ago.
Leio is a great advertisement for my breeding
program because he is so stunning.

Luana has 8 black beauties!

Hours after sister Diamond delivered, Luana added these 8
beautiful black puppies to the Blue Run family. There are 4
boys and 4 girls. Some have white chests and some are all black.
All are wavy. These puppies are in Farmingdale, New Jersey and
will be placed in homes nearby by Juanita Casey. Contact her at
jem3367@yahoo.com
These babies were sired by GCH Riverwood's Prince of Tides
 ( Ripp.)

Diamond has delivered!

Puppies arrived last night, 6 boys and two girls,
averaging a whopping 15 oz.  Diamond is tuckered
out and so am I. I'm happy to see the 3 brown pups
as I don't often have brown. And those two parti
colored puppies are going to stop traffic!

Sisters are expecting one day apart February 21 and 22, 2020

Luana

Last year Diamond had a lovely litter of 9 puppies. Sister
Luana was also bred but had no babies. Now, both girls are
pregnant and due just one day apart.
Luana is a brown piebald. Her puppies with GCH Riverwood's
Prince of Tides will most likely be black with some white on
chest and paws. Luana's show career (she lacks two points to
finish her championship) was interrupted for this breeding.

Diamond, who is black tuxedo marked, has been rebred to
CH Aquafortis Lorenzo Alexander Robel, a handsome brown stud.
Her puppies 12/26/2018 were both black and brown with one Irish
marked, one particolor, and one piebald. The remainder had
tuxedo markings. We expect much the same but I'm hoping for
mostly girls. (8 boys, 1 girl last time!)
All puppies will be wavy in both litters.

Diamond and the Yuletide Litter 12/2018

Luana lives in New Jersey and her puppies will be placed
local to Farmingdale.
If interested in a Luana baby, contact Juanita at
jem3367@yahoo.com

Diamond lives in Maryland and puppies will be placed in
the greater D.C. area. If you are interested in a Diamond
puppy contact me at drcwinchell@gmail.com

Porty Party!

I encourage my owners to get to know each other and to have
play dates with puppies. These four families are enjoying their
pooches from the October litter and the children are making new
friends, too. This is one of the many reasons I try to place my
puppies with families in the greater Washington D.C. area.

Ollie will be getting new siblings soon

Ollie's mom, Diamond, is pregnant. She has 6 or 7 pups
due February 21. This is a repeat breeding in hopes of getting
more lovely puppies like Ollie who is pictured here at
one year of age. This nice deep brown is unusual in
Porties as most have a fading gene and get coffee au
lait colored. I hope Ollie stays this nice rich color.
