so! He's a winner. He is Blue Run's Hot Pick,

call name Banjo.

Cookie has delivered her puppies!

That smug look is well deserved. Cookie (CH Blue Run's Sugar

 Cookie) had 7 lovely puppies on July 6th.

There are 5 boys and two girls. Most of the puppies are brown like 

mom who is unusual in that she has maintained her deep brown 

coloration unlike most brown Portuguese Water Dogs who tend to 

fade by two years of age. Cookie is 3 and this is her first litter with 

German  Champion Loewenherz.

CH Blue Run's Sugar Cookie is to be bred to European champion Loewenherz

This pretty brown girl will be bred to CH Loewenherz before he

moves to the west coast in June. The puppies he produced with

CH Blue Run's Working the Field are stunning! The probable 

timing, assuming the breeding is successful, would be July 4th

puppies going to their new homes the first week of September.

Jona produces brown so I would expect a mix of brown and black

puppies with very little white.

 All of the Harley and Matilda puppies are spoken for. We plan to 

have more puppies in the fall.

Four girls, three boys, most Irish marked with three curly coats. This

is a very flashy litter out of Blue Run's Work of Art and 

CH Karmapwd Perfect Storm Rownan At Snug Harbor. I am

 interviewing prospective buyers for these puppies who will be 

leaving for their new homes in June.

Harley's puppies have arrived!

I'm happy to announce that the whelp went well and we 

have 7 lovely puppies. There are 4 boys and 3 girls. 

Two of the puppies are brown. There is very little white

on these pups. However, when Matilda and Stella whelp

in April, I anticipate the puppies will look like these two

clones, Naia and daughter Nimble.

Who could resist this curly handsome boy? Not

Matilda, who has his framed picture by her bed.

 If the breeding is successful, we will have

 flashy black and white puppies arriving on April 2nd. 

Spring puppies at Blue Run!

Harley has been bred to a German import who is temporarily in

the USA in nearby Virginia. We expect March puppies going to

their homes in May. They will be marked like Harley and we 

expect both black and brown puppies. This is the best time of 

year to take a new puppy home (May). If you are interested in this

Up for adoption!

This healthy 2 year old boy is in need of a new home. I am looking for a dog experienced person who is home most of the time, no children, calm environment, fenced yard, and hopefully in the DMV region.

Addendum: Kimchi has

landed very well in his new home. He seems to be fitting in nicely with an experienced PWD family who have his cousin, Trudy, as well as an older PWD.He got his fenced yard and a pool!

beautiful litter. We have some slots available for

people interested in a male puppy.

require a face to face interview and later make home visits.) 

Most Blue Run dogs are placed within an hour’s 

drive of my Rockville, MD home or my Barboursville, 

VA farm or within an hour of Farmingdale, N.J., where
